Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-owned vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products and materials in a timely manner
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, picking, and stocking items
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance
- Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding delivery schedules and inventory needs
- Maintain clean and organized vehicles, warehouse and work areas
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s license
- Proven experience as a box truck driver or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to driving and warehousing
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
